I am based in Pontefract West Yorkshire
I will only take on commissions for work that I hope to enjoy.
- I am responsible for nothing. I cannot be sued. All work is entirly at your risk.
- I do not have Liability Insurance hence take great care not to mess up people's
systems.
- I will provide an estimate of costs at every stage in the process
and will not exceed
the cost agreed before starting the processes.
- Anything I have to buy in, hardware or software, I will expect you to purchase.
- I will not be pressurised. All work will be done within my time scales.
- Results will be delivered on agreed media.

Career
- Born 1948, hence over 60, now retired, but available for commissions that I enjoy
- Trained as Radio TV and Electronics engineer 1972
- Built my first computer from components in 1978
- Technically managed early Unix systems from 1980
- Worked in the Health Service for 25 years as Departmental Head of I.T.
- Extensive experience of Unix and Microsoft Windows networks, but not NT or higher
servers.
- Extensive problem solving experience
- Extensive Systems Analysis and Management experience
- Great experience at doing the impossible, it just takes a little time.

- HND Electronics
- HND Computer Technology
- HND Computer Programming and Systems Analysis
- MSCE (1999)
- Degree in Industrial Management
